Intern Assistant Men's Basketball Coach: Hanover College

Hanover College, a selective Division III liberal arts college in southern Indiana, invites applicants for an Intern Assistant Men's Basketball Coach. The assistant coach will be immersed in the day-to-day activities of a D-III men's basketball program. Specific duties will include, but may not be limited to:  Assisting with practice and skill development, video analysis and opponent scouting, evaluation and recruitment of qualified student-athletes, monitoring academic progress and providing mentorship to current student-athletes, assisting with camps and fundraising, assisting with the planning of team travel and meals, and other duties assigned by the head coach.

 

This paid position includes a $9,000 stipend and housing. Bachelor's degree required.  Playing experience or previous coaching experience is preferred but not required.  The ideal candidate will display a high-level work ethic, and a strong desire to improve and advance within the college coaching profession.  Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
