The Department of Chemistry at Hanover College invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Chemistry with a specialization in Biochemistry to start August 2020. Teaching responsibilities include the introductory chemistry sequence, the upper-level biochemistry sequence, and a biochemistry seminar course that serves as the culminating experience for Biochemistry majors. The successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to excite and interest students in the classroom and the lab. Additionally, the candidate is expected to lead student research in a liberal-arts environment. Ph.D. is preferred though A.B.D. will be considered.
